De Piraten van Hiernaast 2: De Ninjas van de Overkant (Pirates Down the Street 2) is the sequel of the successful children’s film De Piraten van Hiernaast. I assisted mostly in syncing and logging, as well as doing a bit of assembly editing near the end of the shooting schedule.

The Pirates Down the Street are feeling quite at home in Zandwijk, but the atmosphere turns sour when ninja’s move in across the road. Pirates and ninja’s are mortal enemies, after all! While Pirate captain Hector Donderbus tries his best to get rid of his new neighbours, his son Billy and ninja daughter Yuka become friends. The pirates challenge the ninja’s to the ultimate fight during the town’s annual hexathlon. Who will win the competition? Ninja’s are obviously faster and more flexible, but pirates are the best cheaters of the seven seas…
