Porte Bagage is the debut feature film by Abdelkarim El-Fassi. They were already quite far into editing when I came in. I gave them a fresh look on the film, tightening and re-editing some dialogue. Afterwards, they did some extra shooting and continued editing.

The film follows the Idrissi family, which is in danger of falling apart after the loss of their mother. Their father, in the early stages of dementia, wants to return to Morocco. For caregiver Noor this seems like a solution, but not everyone agrees…
